Monge VetSolution Hepatic is up formulated for sensitive dogs in order to promote liver health and function through nutrition. Monge VetSolution Hepatic contains Super Oxide Dismutase to prevent oxidative stress, Xylo-oligosaccharides to secure the intestinal microbiome and is coated with a functional Fit-aroma* providing a tasty and healthy approach of liver disorders. Indications
Liver failure, chronic hepatitis, hepatic fibrosis, copper metabolism disorders, portosystemic shunt, piroplasmosis, jaundice.
Contra-indications
Pregnancy, lactation, growth, pancreatitis, hyperlipidaemia, hepatic encephalopathy.
Composition
Dehydrated peas (28%), manioc (tapioca), potato starch, chicken fat*, dried fish (Tuna — 6%), tallow*, dried chicken, mineral salts, salmon oil*, insoluble pea fibre, DL-methionine, brewer’s yeast, vitamins, beet pulp, Xylo-Oligo-Saccharides (0,4%), taurine, trace elements (including chelated trace elements), Yucca schidigera, L-carnitine, dried milk thistle (0,02%), freeze-dried melon fruit (0,005% — source of Super Oxide Dismutase). *Preserved with natural antioxidants.

PROTEINS: Level of proteins in MONGE VETSOLUTION CANINE HEPATIC is low and mainly of vegetal origin limiting urea production thus relieving impaired liver metabolism.
CARBOHYDRATES: Carbohydrates in MONGE VETSOLUTION CANINE HEPATIC are highly digestible and contribute to support liver impaired metabolism.
MINERALS: MONGE VETSOLUTION CANINE HEPATIC is very low in copper (4 mg/kg). Copper deficiency does not appear to be a clinical problem in dogs, but excess hepatic copper has been found in dogs with normal liver histology, dogs with hepatitis, and dogs with end stage cirrhosis. Evidence is accumulating that copper is a cause of liver disease.
