Merganser Ice Bug is an effective winter bait. Unlike the “classic jig” this model has a real insect shape, which in turn provokes fish to more frequent and confident attacks on the bait. Two VMC 7109 hooks with three microbeards on the stinger are fixed on metal rings, which, when the bait is in motion, make movements similar to the legs of a real insect. This type of bait completely eliminates any problems with the mobility of hooks. Another distinctive feature is a unique behavior during active play. With a sharp upward swing of the rod, the bait under water will perform a «loop». Often, it is this movement of the lure that makes the fish attack the Ice Bug. The body of the Ice Bug is covered with polymer UV paint, which is very resistant to mechanical influences.
