Trovet Urinary Struvite ASD (beef) — complete dietary food for adult cats with struvite issuesStruvite is a common but well-treatable condition. Urinary Struvite is a dietary food specifically designed to prevent the formation of struvite crystals and help dissolve existing crystals. Urinary Struvite lowers urine pH. Combined with a reduced mineral (magnesium) content, recurrence is further minimized.
Indications:

• Struvite urolithiasis
• Recurrent struvite formation

Contraindications:

• Kittens
• Pregnancy, lactation
• Cats currently receiving full doses of urinary acidifiers
• Urates, cystine, and calcium oxalate urolithiasis

Product characteristics:

• Low potassium level helps maintain a low urinary pH.
• Magnesium level is safely low, ensuring prolonged preventive use does not risk hypomagnesemia.
• Limits mineral intake that causes struvite formation.

Application advice: It is recommended to consult a veterinarian before use. The recommended usage period for Urinary Struvite is 5 to 12 weeks for dissolving struvite and no more than 6 months to reduce recurrent struvite formation. After the extension period, Urinary Struvite can be fed for life as a complete dietary food.
