To complete the elimination diet, a carbohydrate source such as boiled white rice or potatoes must be added. Additionally, it is necessary to use TROVET Balance as a dietary supplement to prevent vitamin and mineral deficiencies.

Application Advice
It is recommended to consult your veterinarian before using Unique Protein (Turkey) in your cat's diet. Recommended use:

• Elimination diet (combined with rice or potatoes): 4 weeks. If symptoms of intolerance disappear, add TROVET Balance daily.
• For critically ill animals, growing kittens, pregnant, or lactating cats: Add TROVET Balance from the beginning of the diet.
• Unique Protein (Turkey) can be used for life in combination with TROVET Balance and a carbohydrate source if no intolerance symptoms are present.

Alternatively, after the elimination phase, a complete TROVET hypoallergenic diet with a similar protein source can be used.
