Trovet Urinary Struvite ASD — complete dietary food for adult dogs with struvite disordersUrinary Struvite is a dietary food specifically designed to prevent the formation of struvite crystals. Struvite is a common but easily treatable condition. Urinary Struvite lowers the urine pH, preventing the formation of struvite crystals. Combined with a reduced mineral (magnesium) content, the recurrence rate is further decreased.
Indications:

• Struvite urolithiasis
• Recurrent struvite formation

Contraindications:

• Puppies
• Pregnancy and lactation
• Dogs currently receiving full doses of urinary acidifiers
• Urates, cystine, and calcium oxalate urolithiasis
• Geriatric dogs

Product characteristics:

• Low potassium levels help maintain a low urine pH.
• Magnesium levels are kept at a safe low, ensuring that long-term prophylactic use does not pose a risk of hypomagnesemia.
• Limits the intake of minerals that contribute to struvite formation.

Application advice: Consult a veterinarian before use. The recommended duration for Urinary Struvite use is up to 6 months. After this period, it can be fed for life as a complete dietary food.
